Business Development in the field of Plant Systems & Microbial Applications (m/f)

Imagine
  • Our Competence Unit Bioresources researches plant and microbial resources and develops new approaches to make agricultural production more sustainable
  • Through your experience in Business Development, you will play a leading role in the economic implementation of innovative solutions in the field of plant production and microbial technologies
  • Furthermore, you will support your team in positioning research competencies and in setting up and managing various customer networks
Engage
  • Together with our research team, you will identify opportunities for contract research and work on national and international market segments
  • You will develop and implement business models for the commercial exploitation of research services and innovations
  • You will shape strategic research directions and will support your team with your professional cooperation network
Achieve
  • You play a significant role in the acquiring research projects and in managing our customers
  • You establish customer relationships and develop new business opportunities
  • You position AIT’s research topics nationally and internationally
Your qualifications as an Ingenious Partner (m/f):
  • You hold a university degree or a technical college degree in Life Sciences, Plant Sciences, Biotechnology or related field
  • Several years of experience in business development, ideally in the crop and/or microbial production sector
  • Good knowledge of innovation processes and management
  • Very good English and German skills (both written and spoken)
  • Professionalism, high commitment combined with teamwork and strong customer focus skills.

What to expect:
The minimum gross annual salary according to the collective agreement is EUR 55.566,-. The actual salary will be determined individually, based on your qualifications and experience. In addition, we offer company benefits, flexible working conditions, individual training and career opportunities.
