AI:AT – the AI Factory Austria – is making Austria a hotspot for Artificial Intelligence in Europe.

 

AI:AT is a joint project of AIT and Advanced Computing Austria. It brings together top-level expertise in high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, and data ecosystems, creating an interdisciplinary innovation environment for research, development, start-ups, and industrial projects.

AI:AT – the AI Factory Austria – provides access to cutting-edge AI infrastructure, promotes trustworthy AI and ethical standards, and serves as a hub for networking with national and European partners. The goal is to work with partners from industry and public institutions to develop and implement forward-looking AI technologies and viable AI solutions.

 

As part of the collaboration within the AI Factory Austria, INiTS – Vienna’s High Tech Incubator will delegate experts to the AI Factory Austria. For our location in Vienna, we are seeking a:

(Senior) Access to Money Lead (f/m/d)

AI:AT - AI Factory Austria

  • Establish and nurture strategic relationships with VCs, angel investors, public funding bodies, and philanthropic tech funds across Europe.
  • Organise and moderate AI-focused investment events such as pitch days, matchmaking sessions, and investor roundtables.
  • Provide tailored guidance on funding strategies, grant acquisition, equity vs. non-dilutive capital, and investment readiness.
  • Support the preparation of financial documentation, business plans, and application dossiers for national and European programs.
  • Monitor the funding landscape for AI and identify new financing opportunities for early-stage and scaling ventures.

Your qualifications:

  • Proven track record in startup financing, venture capital, or public innovation funding
  • Deep understanding of the AI and deep tech investment environment, including impact and ethical AI considerations
  • Excellent networking skills and a strong presence in innovation finance ecosystems
  • Experience in evaluating business models and aligning funding paths to growth phases
  • Confident in moderating between technical founders and financial stakeholders
  • Fluency in English and finance terminology
  • You should be eligible for working in Austria.
