Our Competence Unit Battery Technologies in the Center for Transport Technologies is looking for new Ingenious Partner for our location in Vienna. The battery is the centrepiece of modern electric drive concepts - This is why we focus our research on developing efficient, powerful, low-cost and safe battery concepts.
Technician (f/m/d) for Electrode Manufacturing (Parental Leave)
CENTER FOR TRANSPORT TECHNOLOGIES
- Together with your Sustainable & Smart Battery Manufacturing team, you develop electrodes and components for the next generation of batteries used in electromobility applications.
- You develop new approaches for electrode manufacturing and optimise material mixtures for the prototype production of lithium-ion batteries.
- You are responsible for electrode coating production, including material inspection, electrode mixing, and manufacturing.
- You support ongoing laboratory operations in battery and materials research.
- With your previous experience in a chemical laboratory environment and your high willingness to learn, accuracy, and initiative, you contribute to the further development of our research topics and play a crucial role in the success of ongoing project goals and customer projects.
- You are performing your tasks independently while maintaining high-quality standards in the Li-ion battery production process.
- You have the opportunity to develop further and eventually take responsibility for the respective laboratory equipment.
Your qualifications as an Ingenious Partner:
- A technical degree (Apprenticeship, HTL) or University / FH degree in the field of Chemical Laboratory Technology or Chemical and Process Engineering or any other relevant fields
- Experience in implementing established process workflows
- Knowledge of handling chemicals in a laboratory environment
- Analytical thinking and independent, precise work
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Good technical German and English skills (written and spoken) preferred
What to expect:
The minimum gross annual salary on a full-time basis (38,5 h / week) according to the collective agreement is EUR 45.528,--. The actual salary will be determined individually, based on your qualifications and experience.
